Los días del 19 al 22 de septiembre se celebra en Madrid la 4º edición de APERTURA 2013, que convierte temporalmente la ciudad en epicentro del arte contemporáneo, gracias a la inauguración simultánea de unas 50 exposiciones de sendas galerías de arte, así como al amplio programa de actividades y eventos que tendrán lugar en los principales museos y centros de culturales de Madrid, en estos días.

Esta cita aglutinará a importantes coleccionistas, comisarios, amantes del arte y sobretodo, artistas reconocidos y emergentes y sus obras, provenientes de España y todo el mundo como Chillida, Donald Judd, José María Sicilia, Zaha Hadid, o Laureana Toledo y Alberto García-Alix, Miki Leal... 

Esta es una cita realmente importante para la cuidad, ya que durante estos días estará en el punto de mira del mundo entero, recibiendo miles de visitas y suponiendo un auténtico motor del mercado del arte.

From the 19th to the 22nd of September, Madrid will become the epicentre of contemporary art. The city will be hosting the 4th edition of APERTURA 2013, which consists on 50 contemporary art exhibitions opening simultaneously, so as a wide range of activities at museums and art centres to promote the visual arts and cultural industries both nationally and internationally. 

APERTURA, will attract collectors, experts, curators, art lovers and artists from around the world, to experience a superb array of art, culture and exhibitions. Shows by international artists like John Isaacs, José Hidalgo, Dan Flavin and Ron Arad, Laureana Toledo will be held so as by Spanish artists like Jacobo Castellano or Alicia Framis. 

This is a very important date for Madrid because the city will turn during some days into the worlds artistic hotspot, which will move thousands of people, and be a major point for international art dealers. 

In short, APERTURA offers a series of activities and exhibitions which further enhance the city's intense cultural and social life. Now in its fourth edition, the event has already become a highlight of Madrid's cultural tourism calendar. The finest cuisine, excellent shopping, music, shows and night life provide the perfect accompaniment to art.
