Se estrena un nuevo festival en Madrid, el VillaManuela | A new festival in Madrid, VillaManuela

Hoy se estrena el VillaManuela, un festival ubicado en los barrios de Malasaña y Conde Duque, cuyo objetivo es reivindicar la particular personalidad de estas zonas, a través de gran cantidad de actividades culturales, musicales y artísticas que se han preparado para esta ocasión, así como contando con el apoyo de los comercios, bares y restaurantes de la zona. Además de las actividades propias del festival, hasta el domingo 13 muchos comercios de la zona ofrecen un descuento del 10% o detalle especial en el caso de las tiendas y una tapa con quinto de cerveza por 3€ en el caso de los bares, para quienes acudan al festival. 

En cuanto a la música, habrá DJs y grupos como Male Bonding, Tropic Of Cancer, Sean Nicholas Savage, Dead Meadow, The Oscillation, Jef Barbara, Indian Jewelry, Singapore Sling, Juanita y Los Feos, Las Kellies, Pretty & Nice, Joseba Irazoki, Juventud Juché, DVA Damas, Siesta, Terrier, Challenger, The Atom Age, Halfrican, Cuello, Jay, Biznaga, Celica XX, Sonic Jesus, Cafeteria Dance Fever, Tarántulas Pentium, Sangre, Farniente, Lefty Wankers y Cal, Chelis, Antoni Maiovvi, Kigo, Tres, Nano4814, Civil Civic Dj Set, Diskoan, Natalia Ferviú, Manuela Iwansson (Terrible Feelings), La Ola Negra, Holy Cuervo, Daga Voladora, Nacho Commercial, Oky Von Stoky and Head & Banger.

También se expondrán los trabajos de algunos de los artistas, mayoritariamente plásticos, que dibujan el paisaje del barrio y sus estilos de vida. Aquí disfrutaremos de obra hecha en el underground y fiel a la filosofía DIY; desde ilustración, vídeo arte, fotografía, grafiti y fanzines, hasta la pintura de corte más clásica. Todo ello en espacios expositivos como el Centro Cultural Conde Duque, Museo ABC, el propio estudio del colectivo de artistas del barrio, Noviciado 9 o Espíritu 23 y Cuervo Store. A new festival in Madrid, VillaManuela

Today starts the VillaManuela, a festival located in the districts of Malasaña and Conde Duque, whose objective is to vindicate the particular personality of these zones, through lots of cultural, musical and artistic activities that have been prepared for this occasion, as well as with the support of the shops, bars and restaurants in the area. In addition to the activities of the festival, until Sunday 13th, many shops in the area offer a discount of 10% or special detail in the case of stores, and a beer bottle with tapa for 3€ in bars, for those who attend the festival.

As for the activities, the work of some of the artists, mostly, drawing the landscape of the neighborhood and their lifestyles will be shown. Here we will enjoy of work made in the underground and faithful to the DIY philosophy; from illustration, video art, photography, graffiti and fanzines, to classical paintings. You´ll can see all this at the Culture Center of CondeDuque, the ABC Museum, at Noviciado street, 9, at Espíritu 23 or the Cuervo store.
